Knock Knock, Whos there? (Need help for the response)

Sadly, this isn't a joke but....

Here's what happened. Was driving on the highway - oil pressure light started flashing, started to get a really bad knock. Pulled over, checked oil level. Was like a quart low, I added a quart and let it cool down a bit. Started to knock a block away from my house. Parked it and been diagnosing a bit. Only engine code stored was MAF. I cleaned that but it's still knocking.

Symptoms:
-Only knocks once has been warmed up, at cold runs perfect
-Pulled each plug wire while running to try to isolate the noise more, but the noise wouldn't stop.
-No lights are on dash - no other codes stored
-Knock is NOT consistent, especially as RPM fluctuate...

I'm really stumped on this one, I happened to find videos of other 4runners with the same exact noise, but no cigar on issue...

You're losing a crankshaft bearing.

Rod knock. You could drive it gently for awhile, but a newer engine is in store for the future.

If it's a bearing, possible to replace just the bearings (with the engine in the truck) provided the journals aren't too damaged?

Never seen a rod bearing go from starvation without damaging the crank.
