knocking help pls!

hey all, I have a 95 3.0 and I recently did the timing belt. about 2 ash days after doing the job it started knocking. I was very diligent in lining everything up correctly and was wonder if its a timing issue or something else. knocking increases when I increase rpm. was not knocking prior.

Just getting to know this motor. Sounds like it jumped time. Maybe a tensioner problem. That's the best I can do for you. Good luck

Assuming you've checked/set base timing afterward as well and it's not too advanced? Setting proper idle speed needs to be done prior to that as well according to the FSM.
