KU baby

I was born in Kansas City & I was naturally a fan of the Jayhawks as 2/4 of my extended family attended KU. Who here watched the game? I'm very excited about KU's win over UNC! I must admit though, that I'm also a fan of 'Heels more than the Devils. What an unbelievable game though, and of course I have KU winning it all. WHo here is a fan of college basketball? Go Jayhawks!

You boys ought to LOVE Creighton about now! Their dirty play knocked Kendall Marshall out of the tournament with a broken wrist. I hated to see that! I like watching teams play each other at full strength, especially in the tournament. Hard to get excited about beating a team that had to start a freshman point guard

Made me sick to hear how "classy" the Creighton coach was for calling and apologizing to Roy Williams for their dirty play this week

Agreed. I wouldn't want my team to win because the opponent was handicapped by missing players--you can't appreciate the victory unless it was a heads-up battle at full strength. That was a bad deal losing Marshall like that. With all the one-and-dones in college basketball these days, there's never a guarantee of "there's always next year" anymore.
