What roof ladder is everyone running? I know the common ones like Gobi, Westcott, Prinsu. Any others out there possibly at a better price but still high quality and fitment?

I have this same question. I was looking over reviews on ones on Ebay and they are not great.

What other brands are reputable? Cheap? good quality? etc.

I think as with all good things, you gotta pay to play. I have seen some of the cheap ladders on 4runners locally and they look like rusted garbage with poor welds etc.

Cheap and good just do not go together in the same sentence.

had a c4 ladder and loved how modular it was (you can bolt anything you want to it just by going to home depot), but wouldn't fit w/ my rear bumper/tire carrier.

Changed it to a gobi ladder, and while i don't love it sometimes keeping it simple and sticking to the tried and true is not a bad way to go. Why i don't love it, is that i cant just go to home depot to bolt things to it. You have to buy expensive mounts.

so note to everyone, if you EVER plan on getting a rear bumper with tire carrier, stick with gobi.

I have a C4 and really like it. Don't use it every day but it is built really well and helps my wife with her being able to manage SUPS on top of truck. Also really handy to grab when closing the tailgate. As another poster mentioned, you can bolt anything you want to it with a simple trip to HD.

I also have the Greenlane ladder. I had 3 main reasons for choosing it:
1. It matches the styling of my roof rack. If you have a tube steel rack, it makes sense to look into the Gobi or Baja Rack ladders since they share the same round tube style.
2. It is aluminum. Being in the Northeast means any steel (bare, powder coated, fluid filmed, etc) will corrode eventually. Aluminum was a big selling point for me.
3. No drilling. Some of the other options require drilling into the hatch. Although they may be more secure, I don't use the ladder enough that it would make a difference and it seems solid enough so far.

another vote for greenlane. I don't have a ladder but I do have their ditch light brackets which are aluminum. any sort of winter climate you really gotta to aluminum...
