Ladder people opinion

I got the Bajarack ladder (right after they settled the lawsuit with Gobi) and I use it pretty frequently. I didn't want to store fuel cans on the inside, so I got the rack and tray system specifically for this reason and the ladder is almost required to get full cans up on the roof.

my opinion on those ladder people are they appear to be a quirky bunch of people. Instead of going on a straight line to go from one location to another, they choose to play in the dirt and take the long route.... They also tend to dress a bit grungy and smell a bit earthy if ya know what i mean. I would definitely tell my daughter to stay away from them.

I use it to get on the roof so i can see the trail better at forks.

I found ladders useful on my old Land Rover Discoverys as the trucks had a high roofline.

With the 4Runner I just step on the running board to the rear tire to access the rack. I only have a half rack on the truck.

Just buy one of these and save yourself a bunch of money. Even keeping one of these in the 4 runner I usually just step up on the tires or the running boards to get things up or down. I use a Yakima cargo box and usually have 2 bikes on top of the 4R as well and have never seen the need for a ladder. They look cool but in my application totally unnecessary.
