Is it just me or or is just about any GM vehicle commercial ridiculously stupid.
The recent Buick TV spots used to be my most hated of all time, although I think the current Buicks aren't bad looking .
The ones where the newest lineup of Chevrolets are in a large area and several less than average intelligently informed prospective buyers are being schooled about the totally useless features of these cars. Only one point I'd agree with is the steel bed interior vs the aluminum of the ford. The bearded GM salesman guy with the clipboard seems like a decent enough fella, but he really needs to let the group of "buying public" know that anytime after the sale of one of these vehicles you may be in an extremely bad mood due to any one of a myriad of issues you may have with one of these vehicles after purchase.
The GMC Christmas commercials....GIVE ME A BREAK ! Again, I think the pickups are really sharp looking, but the lady with her new SUV and the guy with the new pickup talking down to their unsuspecting neighbors about how they just made the responsible decision of paying $50,000 for a piece of crap right before Christmas ? These people come across as total a_ _ holes to me. Shouldn't they be spending money on their kids Christmas presents ?
