Last bout with 20's

Well I finally upgraded to 265/70-17 BFG A/t tires on ARE teflon rims. I did test them on my rig and decided to pull them off until my lift arrives. After cleaning and painting my hubs, rotor hats and calipers I decided to do one last spin with my 20's. I plan to take her to the local drag strip to see what she'll do before I put the Enkei's up for sale. Since I never posted any pics of my rig with them installed, I figured I'd share a few.

Not a fan of big rims at all, or chrome. So I kinda feel weird but those actually don't look bad. I still think the new look will be better.

Oh and congratulations on creepiest avatar on T4R.org!!

Thanks for the avatar award, haha. My camera takes really lousy pics when I shrink the size to make them up loadable.
The 20's are actually polished aluminum spokes and outer lip that are powder coated in the web area much like the factory sport 17's. I personally don't like chrome either. I can't wait to install the lift with the A/T's

also, post how you do at the strip.
I will......I'm anxious to see what kind of E.T.'s it will clock. I picked up a 94 Z/28, 6 speed convertible today........that should make me forget how good I ever thought my 4runner accelerated or cornered.:biggrin2:

If your in the mood to post media. How bout a clip of your car accelerating. Looking at the gauges would be sweet!

I like the new tires better neway.

What size tires are you running on your 20s?
I running 295/45 Kumho ecsta stx tires and have had very good luck with them. Three seasons only of course, but wet weather traction is awesome. Especially compared to the dunlops.

So last night was the big night...........My best ET at the local drag strip was 14.80 @ 98.5 mph. I was hoping for a little bit better times but it is an SUV not a hot rod race car. All in all I'm not totally disappointed with the times, they were kind of around what I was guessing (between 13 and 15 sec) So now off with the 20's and on with the lift and A/T's
