Late May Big bear run (all levels?)

Any one want to go run some trails in big bear in late may or early june. Saturday or sunday. We could have a group go run something half descent like holcomb creek and john bull and another group can just cruise around. maybe a group meetup at the beginning and then a runs start around noon or so.

I have no clue. LMAO just trying to build some interest.

John bull isnt too bad. 31's sliders and a rear locker should make it, but may need a tug in 1 area. and that the hardest up there.

There are plenty of cool things to see accessible in 2wd for those just wanting to go meet up and cruise around.

Yea sounds like fun! Kind of new to the offroad scene. Just barely hit Cleghorn for the first time... Not too experienced but my 96 T4R 4x4 might be able to hang. No rear Diff lock though...

What up Jason! Yeah I'd be down for holcomb creek to john bull. I would only be able to make it on the 27th of May though. It's a Sunday.

we need to wake the so Cal section up! Tired of going out with my brother in his 2wd truck and a friend in his (not so capable) Cherokee. Its fun pulling people out but after a while its boring and time consuming lol.

I'm awake I'm awake!! So yeah lets throw out a date... I just can't do June 8 since I've got a Monache Meadows campathon.. BTW anyone is welcome to join us on that trip just be forewarned that we will be enjoying "a few/a lot" of adult beverages and having a good ole time...

I have a few more weeks of grad school, exams and projects so Im buried....but Id love to get out more wheeling...I live in the South Bay, I have an 05 Rubicon w/33s and a 98 4runner with ~2" lift, locker, 5 speed, 4.30 gearing, tundra rims and I forget what size BFG AT but I think a weird 17" rim somewhere between 31-32" tire. I dont want to hammer the 4runner but Id like to get outdoors with it and maybe do some camping too.

I have no sliders through, just stock running boards...maybe I need to look into that if its needed for wheeling around here. I have them on my Jeep and they see lots of action at Big Bear haha so the longer wheelbase 4runner I might destroy the body maybe unless I get some? Was also thinking of an ARB bumper only because I got in an accident in my Jeep this year, and demolished a Lexus with no damage to my Jeep because of the Hanson winch bumper...made me think about putting something stronger on the Yota too...

Also need someone who knows Toyotas to check out front end, my CV boots are cracked so not sure if I have to hold off on wheeling until I get the axleshafts rebuilt otherwise dirt and mud can get in there..

Anyways, Id love to go on some wheeling and camping trips this summer in SoCa so if anyone goes alot let me know where to sign up to whatever clubs or email lists are good.

Thanks!
