Ok so I was doing some checks on the 4runner and what do ya know another leak.:ybrick: So is the ball joint shot? I don't want my wheel falling off. Any replacement ideas? Also Idk what its called but should the steering joint be at that angle?

I also have the same issue, I don't want to risk further damage to anything else so I'm just going to stop driving it until I can get new lbj's installed. You can get the parts for about $150

If that was my LBJ, I'd make it priority #1 to get repaired. Mine leaked like that and while it did not fail, within a year my CV went bad, bearing went south as well as the outer tie rod.

Replace both LBJs with OEM, no other brand, then get an alignment done correctly where the outer tie rod is not cocked at such a high angle.

Are there lower control arms out there that eliminate this angle? I think the bushings are bad on the arms. Also I may get toytec ucas. If i can find lcas that eliminate this angle id get those while replacing the lbjs.
