LBJs, radiator, lift. What order?

2000 4runner, getting ready to put new LBJs, radiator, and OME 881/906 with Bilstein 5100s.

Is there any specific order that i should be removing/replacing parts to make things easier?

If you have all the parts, it doesn't matter if you do the lift or radiator first, but you'll replace the LBJs while you are installing the lift.

Remove old LBJ, install new suspension, install new LBJ. :beer:

With LBJs being the weak spot on these rigs, if you don't know when they were replaced I would do the lift first. Unless your radiator is currently failing and you need to still drive it.

Thanks man. It's all getting done at once, just trying to figure out the best order to do things to make the work easiest

While you have the front disassembled might as well do tie rod ends, unless they've been done prior. you have to take them off the LBJ anyways.

Inner or outer? Generic parts ok for this or do they need to be toyota?

I've been using the Duralast gold OTE from Autozone for over a year now with no issues. Some will always say OEM only (LBJ's that is 100% true) but for the OTE, you should be fine with any quality brand part.

The rad is cheap and takes an hour, tops, to replace and will not be in the way of anything else.

Thank you all so much! Hope to make some progress this weekend. Started spraying down bolts and nuts tonight.

If you've got help you could potentially get it all done at once. Have one person work on the rad and the other on the suspension. If you've got air tools the suspension stuff is a breeze, the hardest part is taking out the cotter pins.
