Leaking steering component

I was just doing an oil change and noticed that this was leaking on the front. It appears to be a steering gearbox or something along those lines. I think the return to the power steering pump is what's leaking. Not really sure though.

Thanks for any help!

I've been looking and an now thinking this could be part of my steering rack. I guess they don't really use steering gears anymore from what I see.

That does help, it's on top of the steering rack, I'm just not sure if it's part of it or a different component. I'm hoping it's just a hose or o-ring!

I found out today for sure it's the return hose that's leaking. Not sure still if it's a hose replacement or just some o-ring. Dang

Yeah, you would be better off going to a salvage yard and getting 3 of them for the price of one.

Taking it out doesn't seem that hard, especially if you don't have rust.

I will be doing it this week to replace the bushings. If you have steering wheel shimmy, you may want to do the same when you replace that line.

BTW, toyotapartsales.com has the CHEAPEST Toyota parts. Just ordered rear axle bearings from there.

Check it out if need be.

Awesome thank you I will. I do have shimmy at certain times, not always its odd. I keep the wheels rotated and balanced and its still there. I bet that could be my problem! Two birds with one stone! :)
