Curious on this as well. I'm assuming it can only be done with one that has a relocatable control box. Curious on setups that work.

The biggest issue you have is with a hidden winch system most of them replace part of the bumper where it would normally be mounted too as well as taking up a large amount of room underneath the grill.

That said, I dont see why it would not be possible to not mount an led bar behind the upper grill. You would have to custom make your own brackets as of right now no one is prefabbing them.

Yet if it where me and I was sending that kind of money on a hidden winch system right around 1k for alot of them then why not go with something like the Southern Style Winch Mount System. It would give you the type of hidden winch mount you want, with tow hook capability and also give you a light bar that integrated in to the mount itself. Picture below. That said, the only down fall besides not being a full bumper has to do with the led bar and if you want a rigid on the single row lights will mont in the bumper up to say I beleive 28". Some have managed to put a larger light in there by custom cutting their own mount with a plasma tourch and making their own brackets but SS will not do this from the factory and most likely will not warranty such modifyications due to where the welds and bends are in the mount.

Otherwise you have to mount on top of the "bumper". There are also some other manufacturers out there. Yet none have the hiddne type winch mount with the light bar built in that I have yet seen. Unless they are a full blown bumper.

Super interested in this as well but was looking for the 10-13 5th gen. I'd like one single light bar for extra vision but don't want one up top since I'm not putting up a full roof rack.
