I'm not sure how I feel about these. Part of me really wants one, and part of me is saying no. It would only be effective to have one if you plan on night wheeling. What are your thoughts?

I've used lighted whips on ATVs for years. They tend to have a high failure rate though. The brand I buy now is Safe-glo, because they are local and usually fix it for free even after the warranty is up. Sure look good though! I just put a repaired on my son's quad. Would be neat on the 4WD runs, but I only get night runs a few times a year.

:couch2:

Definitely sweet on night runs at events. Yodaman had a badass LED discoball at the Marlin Round Up last year it was awesome lol …. lights are fun :D

Main reason why I'm think is due to the fact that I need an antenna. My old one broke and I need a new one before the Lone Star Jamboree in a couple months.

I just LOVE how vendors advertise this stuff and never post pricing…snevey's off road lol

safeglo.com has six footers for $100.

I could be mistaken but I'm almost 100% sure these are not cb antennas. I've never seen a cb led antenna. Most of the led whips are just that. Safety whips that light up, not used for cb transmissions.

This is the last line:

Cb antenna whip 4ft, 5ft, and 6ft. Available in white or black also.

That pic looks like Mission Bay in SD... is it?

As for the lighted CB antenna, I'd make sure you can tune it. Otherwise if you want to have just a fun thing for night... maybe just buy a lighted whip and mount it separate? This way you have a quality CB antenna when you need it and a fun night whip for night bling.
