hey everyone, I just upgraded my interior dome lights with LED bulbs and my reverse lights with LED bulbs. super easy n efficient way to get better lighting. The dome lights are festoon 31mm bulbs, and the reverse light bulbs is 7440-7443 bulbs. also I got a 97 so it might be slightly different for 99s and up. they are sweet! and not badly priced. I got em off DDM Tuning: HID and LED Lighting. check it out!! :)

ive been running an led dome for about 5 years now.
i love it. and it wont burn the light cover.

the one i got has 9 small led's, it works really well.

I have the 48 LED dome lights. Tons brighter and I want to put the LED map lights in. Although now I want to do reverse lights. Those are awesome, and mine are way too dim for me to see anything behind me right now.

how bright are those reverse at night?

they are very bright. I've stood behind them at night and I get blinded. all I see is light!! ahah. but everyone too says they super blinding and as far as it is when I'm backing up, I can actually see where I'm going. It's great!

In the picture they look a bit blue, are they that blue in person?

No problem man, if you want the link to the 48 led panels that i use for the center dome light and 32 led panel for the rear cargo area just PM me.

I ordered a second 48 LED panel and they sent me a 9 LED panel >:(
I ended up sticking it into the maplight and it works great! Hopefully they send me the 48 I paid for too for the cargo light! Does the 48 not fit into the cargo light? I haven't really looked; I just assumed they were the same size.

Also OP: I like that reverse light conversion and I'm gonna go ahead and do that on mine. One question though: were the lights you use 7440 or 7443? I'm confused.

Thats weird. You should have just contacted them and told them they sent you the wrong item. If they still dont fix it just make a dispute with paypal, even if its only for a few bucks. I took measurements before ordering and to be safe i went with the 32 in the rear. once i got them though the panels were pretty much the same size with the 32 having the diodes a bit more spaced out. It does give enough light though

heres a post with my light output (excuse the cell phone pictures, it isnt too great in low light settings without flash)

No prob man. Just to confirm its the ba9 or whatever for the maplights.

Blizz my runner is a 3rd gen, from your avatar pic yours is newer. Will the bulbs from the supplied link work in a 3rd gen?

I did dispute it. No response yet. I'm gonna go with the 48 in the back too because why not?

Good pictures. It really is pretty dramatic how much of a difference they make.

Thats odd, how long has it been? I would just open up a dispute if it takes longer than a week to respond. 48 should be fine lol. Thank goodness for technology, i love LEDs
