Led interior lighting

Will this kit work with the rear audio system? It uses two festoon bulbs not sure what the non ras uses, but I think it only uses one.

i had two bulbs left over, ill be honest i dont know what their technical name is, but i would imagine that the kit is made to be universal enough so that all models/trims can use it, hence why my base model had some left over

I had two left over as well. theyre all the same kits for all 4th gens. I had to buy a few extras off ebay to do the visor and license plate lights, but other than that, that kit works fine and fits everything its made to fit for

Love these lights! Great mod for a great price

I had 2 festoon LED left over and I stuck them in the visor mirror lights. I had to bend the prongs back a bit since the stock bulb is narrower, and the festoon did not fit that well. But they stayed in there with the plastic cover on.

Is that not where those two festoons are supposed to go?

I noticed that my domes only have one festoon light in each. Did Toyota change that in later models (I have a 2003)?

I was wondering, what type of bulbs are in the courtesy lights in the doors? I'm ordering my interior LED's today and want to be sure I get the right ones (I'm putting together my own LED kit on superbright).

Thanks

Same as whats in the map light

I just put the amazon LED kit in while watching Alabama beat Arkansas like a drum.

I was not really paying attention to the install and could not get them to work at first.

I then realized that the bulbs can only be installed in one direction. If you put them in the wrong way they do not come on.

50 / 50 chance and I got it wrong... a bunch of times.

I did all my interior and exterior lights with lights from VLEDS.com

great products and super fast shipping. no issues at all so far, about a year.

My06runner i used this one: Amazon.com: Toyota 4Runner White Interior LED Package (10 Pieces): Automotive

as far as im concerned, you wont notice a difference if you go to a name brand or more expensive led. this package was easy to install, came fast, and i had leds left over, plus its 10x better than the stock halogens

Just bought these and I am extremely impressed. They were around $23 w/ shipping. So much brighter than the original bulbs. DEFINITELY worth the money! I even had one more left so that is good for if one ever goes out. Highly recommend it.

Nobody bought the >$5 bag of 100 LEDs from China (on ebay everywhere)? :P
I did and they work fine. LEDs are pretty simple, usually, right, they either work or they don't, and so far all the LEDs I used from this bag worked.

Edit: er.. I thought you meant for the instrument backlighting. Although it might work for overhead illumination etc. just fine, although you would have to do math and soldering. :p
