LED Tail Lights/3rd Brake Light - ABS Light on

So I had the LED third brake light for awhile and never had the problem. Then I got the LED tail lights and then the ABS light would start coming on. So I ordered some of the resistors from VLEDs that some other user on here said had fixed his problem and put them in line on the third brake light. It still comes on but only in the morning if my truck isn't warmed up. So I have to turn off my truck and restart it to reset the light. Sometimes it takes a couple times. If I remote start my truck and let it fully warm up while i get ready then it doesnt come on. When I come home from work at night it doesn't come on because I have my lights on. Has anyone else had this problem or have an idea how to fix it?

First of all nice truck. Did you paint it yourself? What kind of paint did you use?

Here are some threads on the ABS issue. I assume you searched but didn't get any results. The term 'abs' does not return results unless you use the Google search bar at the top of the page. This is because T4R only returns search strings for >= 4 characters.

load resistor on the 3rd brake light is all you should need what i did on mine never had a issue

Yeah that's what I've read, that people solved their problem by putting it on the third brake light. Are you supposed to put one on each wire, the power and the ground?

And also has anyone with the LED tails had to use a resistor on the tail lights as well because I don't think it's my third brake light causing the problem because I've had that for over a year and never set off the light. And also because, like I said before, if I remote start my car (which while running has my parking lights on, therefore the LED tails and not the third brake light) for like 5 minutes before I go out and drive it, then it won't come on. Just like at night it doesn't come on because I have my lights on which has nothing to do with the third brake light.

No I don't. I was thinking about making one but I've done alot and didnt take a lot of pictures during the process so I was thinking the thread would kind of suck without a lot of in process pictures.
