Left Brake Light Non-Functional?

I was driving home from Nor Cal this past weekend and told that my drivers side brake light wasn't functional. I replaced the dual filament bulb and still no luck. I checked continuity at the socket and the running light has juice, but no juice for the brake light. Both fuses are good as the right brake light still works.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Happened to me. One of the connector wires got disconnected. Shop re-soldered it back on
