Put the street tires and Trail wheels back on for this trip. Yes I know the trailer is too big for the car (and almost as heavy)...

19 ft Sea Ray. Pulls it and, more importantly, stops it just fine. Had to get a dropped hitch after the lift however.

Anyone running the Tekonsha controller? And what are your thoughts? I have read great reviews. I'll be towimg a 2004 VW R32 track car.

Dry weight of boat is 3200, so guessing boat and trailer to be a little over 5k.
Pulled it up to Austin recently and it did great aside from the 9 mpg.

I've ran both the P3 and currently the Primus IQ in the Ram above.

Great controllers. I think the P3 is overkill for anything you'd tow with a Runner....and the Primus IQ works just as well without all the tech and settings I've never used....for half the cash.

Buy with confidence. I tow a lot, from my above current setup, to my crawlers on car trailers, toyhaulers, enclosed trailers, etc.

Until you get into the hydraulic integrated controllers....the Tekensha's are GTG!
