I recently stood at the bottom and it was very daunting looking. Even with the wheeling I've recently done I have no desire to try that.

How did that guys rig look and run after that?

Broken glass and some cosmetic damage but nothing structural. Popped it up with the winch lines and it ran fine.

This was the beginning of the end for me ... started on a nice trail, no biggie. I took my brother in law with me who 'knows the area' (bs - haha) and we ended up on a hiking trail or ... something. Way too small for a 4runner is what I'm saying. We had to pretend we were a tank and get out the only way we saw. THROUGH everything haha ... you can't tell from the pictures but the rear quarter panel has some wavy dents and the passenger rear door is pretty much done for.







It's not as bad as what I've seen posted here but still sucks since I only had the truck for about a week prior to this. After a few hours of scratch removal, I was able to get the big stuff out. I may have to color sand after I get a couple of replacement doors but it could have been worse

A lot, more times than I can count! Here was one of it's last trips out.

Not my rig, but had a guy with a mostly stock FJ hanging out at the offroad park Saturday.
He was hanging really well and I was impressed with what the little FJ's can do.

He hit a big puddle a little too fast and his strut stem buckled.

Had to drive an hour back on the bump stop. I think he's calling Toytec today.

Not worthy of pics, but i wheeled my ‘15 Trail at Rausch Creek a bunch follows by a trip to OBX wheeling the dunes. I took it in for my complimentary first oil change and the service manage came out looking for me. I asked if there was a problem. He said, “every skid plate is dented and scratched and a ton of sand fell out of the plates also. No problem, I just wanted to meet the guy who actually Wheels a new 4Runner.” Shakes my hand w a big smile and walks away. Haha.

This is from the Cove last year. There's no perspective on the slider, but that dent is about the size of a baseball. I'd say the slider paid for itself with that one hit alone.

Got stuck between a rock and a hard place. Right rear tire was about 4 feet in the air
One reason I like rocksliders with a slide out.
didn't even break the glass, swapped out the door for another one when I got home
