I usually buy what is on sale at the grocery store. I rarely go to Starbucks and if i do it is only coffee nothing fancy.

there's a good montana saying that goes along these lines

"the coffee's done and right when you can float a horseshoe in it"

meaning it dern well better be strong as heck, dark as heck, and thick ... the only way i drink it ...

even the gas station stuff, that's been on the heat plate all day ain't strong enough for me ... it's horrible, but i love my coffee that way ... and no cream or sugar either ... ick ...

I like it black, strong and smooth. Starbucks has great coffee, but some of their blends are better than others. They're consistent, too. Sumatra is my fave. :)

My staple coffe is Jose's whole bean Vanilla Nut from Costco. Aroma is strong and tastes awesome. It doesn't have the burnt sour taste that Starbucks has.

My favorite high-end coffee is Lion's Brand. The 100% Kona and their other (flavored) coffee (macadamia nut, chocolate, etc.) is the absolute best coffee I've ever had. Too bad it's so expensive.

"So Bob, how do you take your coffee'? (Hopkins to Baldwin in "The Edge")

"Same way I take my women. Bitter and murky"

Petes for me.

After my recent trip to Hawaii I found the best coffee in the world;

100% Kona Peaberry Coffee Bean. It is INCREDIBLE!!!

Lion's Brand isn't too bad either! :D I think that brand is a subsidiary of Royal Kona anyway.
