Lift install in Dallas area? Recommendations?

Called a place yesterday to get a quote for a lift install and blew his mind when talking about XREAS which scared me. I'm not versed enough on installing myself or else I would.

Anyone in the Dallas area have any recommendations of where to take my beloved Runner and avoid idiocy? Was quoted 250 at a place here by my house in Denton. Toltec leveling lift keeping XREAS intact.

Call Reggie Marquez at Toyota of Plano. He's one of the tech's there and I wouldn't let ANYBODY else touch my FJ or my 4-Runner. He's been doing my work (as well as countless others) for a very long time. He's the best guy you're going to find. You can PM me if you want his cell number or you could just call and ask for his Service Writer at the dealership and see if can get Reggie to call you back.

Try calling Rock and Roll off road in North Richland Hills. I have spoken with them about XREAS. The level kit will not cause any issues with it. I have a spacer lift and XREAS. Was the quote $250 just for install? It's not a difficult install for DIY.

Very impressed with Reggie. I am, however, incredibly mad at the dealer I purchased my new(to me) 4Runner from because Reggie discovered my XREAS was leaking, a wire harness and windshield wiper fluid line (haven't even tried to use it, the car is so clean) were severed from probable rat damage, and my seat back foam is all defective.

All this was passed Certified by Toyota in Houston (Don McGill). I already know they didn't even check the air pressure in the tires because all of em... especially the spare were very low.

So I'm on hold once again for the lift to wait and see what the verdict is on repair. I bought the vehicle from Houston because they had what I was looking for at a stellar price so we drove down there to get it. So basically we're waiting to see if they are going to force me a drive back to Houston.... even though they said we could take it to any Toyota. Disappointed doesn't even cover it, but its the hand we were dealt and at least we know about it now.

Just wanted to brag on Reggie a bit though because some mechanics will just do what you asked them to do and not look or even tell you about other stuff. This guy is definitely on the level.
