@Quentin - thx, my 2007 sport was setup the same way. factory wheels bfg's and a level kit. I think toyota would sell quite a bit of them if they came this way.

Anxious to see the final product. I hear that if X-REAS is discharged, cost 800.00 for Toyota to recharge the system. May be a myth . . .

If the dealer thinks I'll spend $800 to recharge my stock suspension, I'm "recharging" it with aftermarket shocks and springs.

Lifted Limited with 17s -- Brand new to forum

Bought 2014 Limited (Silver), really like it. I would like to improve the stance perhaps increase ground clearance for dirt roads not major off-road, fly fishing, camping, etc. Want a comfortable ride on and off street, if possible. Would appreciate any advice.

1 - Can you place 17 TRD wheels on without modification -- like that look?
2 - Recommended lift kits for limited?
3 - Any pictures of lifted with 17s?

You can place the TRD wheels on there no problem, but you need to be aware of what tire size you're putting on there. A lot of guys are running 275/75/r17 or 285/75/r17 and are doing the fender mod to prevent any rubbing issues, here's a link with mods and info for the 5th gen:http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/92594-modifications-write-ups-quick-links-faqs.html I put 285/75/r17 on my runner and has minor rubbing and will soon be installing the Daystar 2.5/1/5 levelling kit so that I'm not losing the XREAS (for now).

Planning to level my 2018 Limited with toytec 2” spacers in the front without messing up XREAS. Don’t really want to add additional lift to rear. Will these toytec spacers do the job? Thanks.

I have a '16 Limited and added a Toytec 2" (TAC-2) preload spacer in the front. After install, I quickly realized I had a slight reverse rake when fully loaded, so I later installed a rear 1" Cornfed spacer. Much better now.

Unfortunately, I don't have any before and after pics fully loaded. With just the font spacers installed, it was level and happy when sitting empty in the garage. But after a mulch run to the local hardware store, the reverse rake was definitely observable sitting parked and was easily felt when accelerating. Personally, I think a little rake is good, especially if you haul or tow - that's when you want it level.
