Light Racing UCA Question

Recently installed some LR UCA's. Getting my alignment done today. I am just a little curious if anyone has ever had the camber adjustment (adjustable by loosening and sliding upper ball joint in or out) move while 4wheeling. It just seems a little vulnerable since the adjustment is a smooth slide and not stepped at all. Im sure torquing to 150 ft/lbs doesnt allow for this, but i am just curious if it has ever happened.

Have not had any issues (that I'm aware of) to date but going to get alignment checked in next week or so and will let you know how that compares to figures documented after last alignment which was after installation of suspension system (including the LR UCA's).

when i installed mine I pulled the adjusting nut all the way out to the outer most point of the slot torqued it to 150lbs an its stayed there for the past two years. I used the LCA's to set the camber at zero with the UCA at this position when i do off-road racing i can break that nut loose and push the top of the tire in to get the negative camber needed to take the turns at high speeds, when done just loosen the nut pull it all the way back out get perfect zero degree's of camber and roll on down the road.

No issues with mine. There are A LOT of members that run these here and wheel, and if it were a design flaw, believe me, Light Racing would have heard about it and fixed it by now.

I've got mine ran all the way out like Aha2988 to clear my meats. I was not, however, able to get all the way back to zero camber even with the LCA let all the way out. I've still got a little positive camber that I can live with. One day, I may try to dial it in close, but for now, I'm happy.
