I've been thinking about doing the grey cladding on mine like this

Looks good OP, nice job. This won't work on light colored trucks though - the black textured bumpers will look very odd on a silver truck for instance.

That's what I thought but the line-x work that I've seen has been fairly smooth so and of course nobody has done it so I can't look to see if it will be a hero or zero

I've seen some that look terrible(I guess bad color matching) and some that look good(the tacoma in the link just posted above).

I haven't decided yet but I'm thinking color matched silver like the tacoma in the link I posted

I did all of my cladding with black spray can rocker guard. It looks good but requires monthly touch ups.

So you did black on the silver 4runner? Do you have any pictures I could look at?

look at LineX Body Armour stuff.... looks bad-azz but I am sure it is very pricey!!

Looks great on the website! I guess it's a different formula then regular but they look the same consistency.

I used to do bed lining similar to Line-x. The shop would not warranty lining sprayed onto plastic, b/c it will not bond properly.

The only thing I ever sprayed that was similar to the unpainted cladding were ATV fenders, and the material did not bond as well as if to steel.

So you did black on the silver 4runner? Do you have any pictures I could look at?

These are not very good pics of the paint due to the mud but you get the idea. This is also before my bumper was finished. The tire is now mounted lower and the bumper is done in black rocker guard to match the plastic. I also went over everything with clear coat.

I knew it was only a matter of time before I met you or someone you knew jayz.
I own this truck now and just got putting 1700 flawless miles on it for a family vacation.
I plan getting a lot done to get the next year or too.
I can't believe you got around in those -25 ultra motorsports for so long haha.
Barely enough room to fit a piece of paper between tire and ucas!
Anyways...... I love it.
Be cool to talk to you about all that was done not done.
