Lockable Storage?

So since I have a soft top I have to assume that everything in my truck is fair game to any a-hole who isn't too lazy to undo a button or zipper. I've been trying to work out some kind of lockable storage box to bolt down in the truck so I can permanently leave some tools and other semi valuable items in the truck.

Has anyone come up with any good ideas on this? I'm not looking for something too big or obtrusive.

I'm planning on replacing the side panels with metal and working some locking storage into the fenders.

That's a sweet thread except even logged in I can't see most of the pics! I want to do something inside the rear quarters as well because I don't want to give up my factory spare location.

Exactly what I have in mind, too. KidV. Advantages of this are:
(1) Tools will not take up space in the rear deck,
(2) No visible toolbox in sight to tempt thieves, AND
(3) Storage can be locked so harder to steal compared to a tool box in the open that even amateurs (as I learned the hard way)can steal by simply breaking the glass.
