Long expensive lesson

It has been almost 9 months exactly since i made the worst mistake of my life...I sold my 4runner. Now tomorrow morning i am driving 4 hours to hopefully purchase another one. I returned from deployment in december of last year and since then I have had 5 different trucks and suvs and none of them came close to my yoda. lord forgive me, i knoweth not what i had done. <chastise, chastise, chastise, chastise, chastise, chastise, chastise, chastise, chastise, chastise, chastise, chastise, chastise.....> in the words of rocco from boondock saints....worst day of my life man. BUT, i have seen the light and i have been given another chance. in the words of the jews, NEVER AGAIN!!!

OP, I've been there too. I loved my first 3rd Gen but sold it. I've had a number of them since, some trying to find the right one, some just to flip. I'm pretty happy with my current DD but I still do miss my original one. Glad you found your way back to one.

The separation of Wilson and Tom Hanks in Castaway was how I felt when I had to sell my 2000 Surf. Hahahahha, but seriously, I still miss that truck to this day. I was returning to the USA from Peru permanently. Importing it was impossible.

:lookout: Look and look some more until you find what you want, don't settle for a sixth time. I would even try and find your old runner and make a cash offer + some.
