Could be a Lexus. California plates so I doubt it is actually badged as a Prado.

First one is a Lexus GX470, same platform as the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and 4th Gen 4Runner (rebadged as the Hilux Surf overseas), but it does look nice none the less.

They are very functional when parking in tight spots. My surfs had them. Here stateside, they look kinda weird. I know on ebay you can get them for your 4th gen (and 3rd gen if you look). I looked at them and considered them, but decided not to.

Before I got my first Surf, I almost got a 97/98 (can't remember) Prado. I was too in love with the Surf. .................. ahh to be single and with money in my pockets again...

Except the Toyota Fortuner is not built off the T120 or T150 platforms. It does look nice.

I thought they were a bit smaller, but are noticeably smaller. I was inspecting one closely when I was in Peru last year.

Still, very nice. It will never make it here. I'm still hoping Toyota re-badges the Prado a 4Runner for a next generation. I can wish..............

What's funny is the Hilux Surf is a rebadged 4Runner and doesn't share the Hilux frame at all, but the Fortuner is built off the Hilux Frame. So it should really be the Hilux Surf, someone in Toyota's model naming division missed that. Lol
