Looking for Good Shop in DFW

I'm looking for a new shop in DFW. Preferably a place that is good with 4Runners and knows more about them than your typical garage. Any suggestions besides the dealership?

Depends on what kind of work you want done. If your looking for an off road shop for mods and such, I'd suggest Tribal 4x4. We've had some dealings with them and know of others that have as well. Nothing but good things to say.

Yeah, depends what you want. They're not cheap, but I can't express the level of quality you get at Baer Trax off of Walnut Hill and 35. Josh is the owner and knows his Toyotas well...

TLS in Euless off 360/183. Fred has worked on three of my 4runners and a few that I have recommended from here as well. Good guy and knows what he is doing and has a clean shop.He worked at a few stealerships in the area as well.

I too was wondering. I was thinking of getting a 5th gen next year and will keep these shops in mind.

Stay away from the service center at Freeman Toyota, nothing but crooks. Mike Dadja has "Dadja Do Rite" automotive off of Davis in North Richland Hills. He's a top notch guy. He really knows his way around Toyota 4x4's.

Thanks for the replies. I don't do any off road driving in my 4R. It's a stock 2006 SE. I'm going to need some brake work done soon and maybe some suspension work so I was just doing some research ahead of time.

For the west side of DFW I would recommend Pratt Automotive (Pratt Automotive ) ; this is a Lexus shop, but they will work on most of Toyotas as well; they are very honest, reasonable and main thing I trust their work!
