looking for OEM rear diff breather

I'm looking to make a DIY rear differential breather mod. The push connects are what we use for compressed air lines. Nothing exotic. I just need the right thread pitch. If I can get one in hand, I can measure it. I can also use it to get an adapter to reuse the old breather in the gas tank mount.

It is seriously a super cheap project, but I don't want to order 10 different ones and hope to get the correct threading. Would rather do it right the first time.

Thanks
Chris

Did you search the forums?
Sounds like you didn't.

I bet if you "just happen to look here", look some more, read a couple articles, you will find ALOT of data. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/92594-modifications-write-ups-quick-links-faqs.html

BTW, you want to get away from the OEM breather/one way valve.

Guess again sparky. I did. If you find me one post on any of the links you posted that has the thread size and pitch, i will gladly eat crow. I spent the last 40 minutes searching before asking.

Sooooo...since you don't want to use your old OEM breather, can I have it to measure and help out others?

WTF is sparky?
$6.00 will get you one of these and you can measure it yourself. This one is for 1/4" fuel line...different part #'s for different size hose. (Hint it's not NPT)

My old OEM breather went in the garbage 2 years ago...you can have it.

YMMV :D
