Loud brake noise when backing up

When my 4R is cold, and I brake while in reverse, it makes a loud brake noise. It only does this, when under a load and I brake. For example, if I put it in neutral and let it coast back, then brake, no noise. It also only does it when cold. The noise is just a loud brake noise. Any thoughts?

Try servicing the pads if you haven't in a while (clean and lube pins and check springs on front calipers). I resolved an issue that sounds a lot like yours this way.
