I have a 2004 4th gen sport. I am getting ready to install a Toytec Boss lift kit with new light racing adjustable upper control arms.
My question is, I have been reading that our generation 4runners often have seized lower control arm camber bolts. If the lower bolts are seized will the new adjustable upper control arm compensate for the problem? In other words will the tech be able to get the alignment in spec by just adjusting the upper control arm?
The truck does not currently have any tire wear issues so the lower bolts seem to be in a good position. Just wondering what to possibly expect after the lift is installed and the alignment is checked by the shop.
Thanks for any insight to this.
