Lower front seat cushion-swap

My 2003 limited with leather is in really good shape considering the age. I do show some wear on the drivers lower seat cushion to the outside. Likely from sliding in over the years. Though I try to lift my self out a bit to not speed up that wear. I’m thinking of just swapping the left and right side front seat bottoms, to put the wear area to the inside section of the front passenger. I have to think this should be no problem if they are the same, but I’m not certain. The seats have heat but again I think it should be an easy disconnect and reconnect. Any advice out there for me? Thanks.

I replaced my seat driver's side bottom seat cushion (foam). From memory, the pad was different and not symmetrical from side to side to I don't believe it can be done. If the parts numbers are different from side then you probably have your answer. Btw, I am not talking about electronics or connectors at all, just solely about the cushion itself.

I replaced my seat cover bottom with one off Amazon for my gray leather seats, color was a great match and it fit great. They are different from side to side though as there are cut outs below the plastic for the knobs and buttons on the side of the seat. You might be able to make a side to side swap work but will likely have to cut holes. Maybe get a replacement they are <$30 on Amazon.

Thank you. I just ordered up the left and right bottom covers in gray for 2003 limited. I’ll post a photo when I get them installed. Haven’t sourced cushions. But I might just add a slim piece of foam on the outer bolsters

From the comments on Amazon, it looks like you have to move the heater element to the new cover. I assume for this price, it's pleather.
