Made some changes to my T4R. Before/after pics!

Just finished putting on the new wheels I got so I thought I'd post some before/after photos. I've only removed the running boards and gotten new wheels (and added my bike rack & kayak pads) but it looks SO much better already! Found the tire/wheel set on Craigslist and the tires have at least 75% of the tread left so I'm really excited. The wheels are 16" Tacoma TRD wheels (from a 2011) and the tires are 245/75/16. I was afraid with the different backspacing, the wheels would be set too far into the truck but they actually sit farther out than the wheels I had before! Anyway, thanks for everyone's help so far. I'm sure this won't be the end!

Yup, finishing up my last year here at UF. GO GATORS! The new wheels are from a 2011 Tacoma (TRD I think). I love em!

And I have to sy, the only thing good to come out of Gainesville was Tom Petty! Go 'Noles!
 
I plan on selling them once I clean them up. Not sure about posting them on here though cause idk if I want to have to go through shipping them :/ But if you're REALLY interested I guess let me know.
 
Yeah, those tires were TINY. Since I bought the truck I was never a fan of those wheels at all but I know a lot of people really like them so hopefully I'll be able to sell them fast on craigslist! Too bad I live in FL and there isn't really a good market for selling 4runner stuff like there seems to be on the West coast. :cry:

You think so? I thought the new-ish tires with good tread would be a selling point (even if they are tiny) lol. Hmmmmm. Maybe I could post a price with tires and a price without tires?
 
Looks good! I love the Tacoma wheels and it was a major improvement with the running boards removed. As for selling the wheels, its all personal preference. You could sell them as a set (wheels & tires) or apart and make a good profit either way. They are great wheels, so a little polishing and restoring, and those will be hot sellers!

You really need a set of spidertrax spacers to bring the wheels flush the flares.

Those would look awesome. I've heard mixed things about wheel spacers, though. Are they safe? Haven't done my research and don't really have enough money right now haha. Maybe eventually...:jump:

The Spidertrax are safe, they are basically a lug adapter; you don't lose any thread engagement through them.

The spacers shown above can be considered dangerous; you lose thread engagement on the stud by running them, unless you use ET style lug nuts.
