Hey my 4runner has 135,000 miles on it and I was wanting to see what all you guys can help me out on what all I need to change. I am about to do a major overhaul and change brake pads, rotors, fresh oil changed, spark plugs and change some fluids. Can you help me out what should be replaced for a 4runner with that type of mileage?

Brake Fluid, Power steering fluid, Antifreeze, ATF, Transfer oil (if applicable) and Brake Calipers. About those Brake Calipers: my money is on that at least one of the fronts will be seized and you will not be able to push them back for new pads. But not to worry, remanufactured ones are cheap and life-time warranty. GL

Great thanks for the info! So is it best to just go ahead and buy two new front calipers before I start changing the pads and rotors?

Nah, just do brake job when local NAPA or Carquest open and make sure they have those in stock if you have another vehicle to drive there. If not ask about return policy if you won't need calipers.
