i voted for the first time today too. odd thing: they didn't check my id! i brought this up to the lady taking my ballot and she asked the people checking voters in whether or not they were checking ids. they said "we havent been checking ids all night". what in the world?!? i'm new to all this but wth is going on. i heard them say that they have to check id's for new voters. is this true? if you know someones address, couldnt you simply just walk-in in place of the person who actually registered and vote in their place?

It is funny you should bring that up because I am a first time voter too and they didn't ask for my ID either. I heard on the news that they were checking everyone's ID in New York!

I was able to vote early here in GA. It turns out 59.1% turned out to vote, which is quite high. Of course that leaves 40% of us out there that don't vote.
