So I've had an "OEM" trailer hitch sitting in my closet for the past 2 months and I'd like to install it. I don't have any of the hardware though and while I've found out that the threads have a pitch of 1.25 and the bolt size is 12mm, I've heard that there is a bracket with nuts threaded to it that slides inside the frame. I don't have the means to recreate such a thing and need to find them somehow.
Who originally made the trailer hitches that Toyota installed on our vehicles? Maybe I can contact them for parts.
