Marc P's 98 4Runner...it begins

After 9 year of building and wheeling my 95 4runner I decided I needed a change. Traded for a mildly built 98 4runner from AZ.

It already has e-locker/4.30 gear ratio, Sonoran Steel 1.2 lift with 5125 Bilstiens and all the other goodies the lift comes with, Budbuilt skid/belly pan, TJM front bumper, Smittybuilt winch, Hella Ralley lights, a drawer system in the back, 265/65/16 MTR's.

Today I installed a 4Crawler 1in body lift.

Future plans include bigger tires (ASAP) and a rear bumper with swingout, gas tank relocation, and Tundra brake upgrade.

I need to get it out on the trail still. After wheeling a solid axle rig the past 3 years I need some time behind the wheel to see what this rig can do.

Here are some pics.....

New and old together for the last time

Pretty cool that I feel like I did when I first started the mods on my 2nd gen...reading up on other peoples builds and researching what parts work best.

looks sweet man. It I could have one other color truck it would be red. Wish I could have picked up your tires, I just left SD for school today...

ya those tires look awesome, you mind if i ask what kind of deal you got on them, im getting ready to buy some 285's and im trying to do as much shopping around as i can before i pull the trigger.

X2 on the old 2nd gen, BA! Looks like you already have a good foundation for the new toy. Those Kellys look real good on it too. Looking forward to seeing more.

I miss the old rig, but after 9 years i was ready for a change...a few of the guys I wheel with have 3rd gens and I always liked them.

Haven't really done any mods recently, just maintenance.

Picked this up a couple days ago...

Now I just need to install it....

Got the bumper painted and installed...very nicely built and fits good. I am not sure if I will remove my BL or not. The gap doesnt bother me much at this point.
