How did you bolt it to the floor? It seems difficult without taking the pipe and the muffler off first.

If you want to put the heat shield back on, then go get some oversized stainless or grade 8 steel fender washers (your preference) large enough to cover up the corroded out hole and just tighten them back up to the floor with the oem nut (assuming you can get that off).

Yeah. That's the problem. The nuts are pretty rusty and my tools can't handy for the job. Very limited room.
