Method NV

Hi All,

Tried searching but only found a few threads that didn’t really clarify my concern. I want to run Method NV wheels on my 5th gen. I realize these wheels are lug centric. I’m used to running HUB centric wheels. How do the Methods differ? Is it all in the proper lug nuts for these wheels?

Proper lugs was my understanding when I was looking at Method. Ended up going SCS so can't help with practical experience.

Proper lugs, and also proper application of said lugs. If you're sloppy with tightening them up at all you can easily get a wobble. Centering rings aren't required but can give peace of mind.

Yes, and tightening your wheels in a star pattern with a torque wrench.

I've never had any issues with NV's. Get the right lugs, tighten them in a good pattern. The center cap acts as the centering rings.

This. 20k on real beadlocks with my NV’s. No issues.

I ran them on my Tacoma with no issues, other than slight rubbing due to offset. If you use ET style lugs you run a lower chance of vibration issues.

I had them on my Tundra and they were great (until someone slipped while taking one off and chewed a groove into one)....otherwise no issues.
