Method Racing NV

Tire rack sells the zinc boots separately so they must be removable?

I also some posts on the Raptor forum about some guys who replaced w ith stainless bolts.

i know the bolts on my Methods come off, but not sure on the NVs

That would be nice if they did. It would make powdercoating them much easier. I'm just terrified of going to loosen them and have it just break off. If I do powdercoat them I'll make sure to check with the factory before hand.

Those with methods, are you using hub centric rings? I was looking at the ebay sale and did some searching for pics and some posted they are only lug centric. I was looking at the fat five but am sure one would apply to most in their street line of wheels. Any input?

On another issue with these NVs, I love the idea of black powder coated nuts but would think they would be instantly marred when bolting them back into place.

im running mine on hub centric spacers but ran them normally as well without rings.

Usually its GMs running toyota bore Methods that need centric rings.

Were you able to reuse the stock lug nuts?

I'm still using a shank style lug nut but I went ahead and switched over to black gorilla lock lug nuts because I wanted them to match and I like the added security. I believe the stock lug nuts are shank style as well so I'm assuming you would be fine to use them.
