Method Trail Wheels 700 series

I made a bold decision to go with the Bahia blue 701s for my silver runner… I’ve grown impatient with SCS to finally restock the wheel I need for a 5th full spare to continue my 5 tire rotations… I met a new friend that hooked up 20% off methods so I decided to sell my 4x SCS wheels and get 5 of the bead grip tech wheels.. it was really hard to find any decent pictures of these color wheels on 4Runners.. so i thought id share once I get them in and on..

Id also like to get any further input from anyone here that owns bead grip tech wheels (70x series) from method and how far they’ve pushed the tech? It seems really promising so far from my research.. I’m kinda glad I’m dropping the whole fake bead lock look and actually getting wheels that will give me better bead security short of an actual bead lock wheel in which I do not want since my runner is a DD as well.

Lots of folks running methods with zero issues.

I wanted the 703's and they are on extended back order.

Talked to the folks at method and ended up with the 316's.

I’m curious to hear how well that bead grip tech really works. I like to drop the pressure really low when I snow wheel and only lost a bead once during a lateral winch pull @10psi. Not sure if Bead Grip would have prevented that but it would be fun to test.

Updated with wheels installed! Includes pictures with the wheel in different light… the pictures don’t do it justice! Can’t wait to wrap them in 35s soon as my 33s wear out! Waiting to record some trail shots before making an edit for my Instagram
