Minimal lift needed to run 285 70R17..

So I have a ‘19 Pro with the Eibach Pro spring lift kit, basically giving me about 1.5” of lift. Is this enough to run 33’ tires? Thanks for any input. Tom

changing ride height does not affect tire clearance if you use all available wheel travel IE off roading or backing up/turning/while leaving a driveway at a decline. install them at whatever height you prefer. trim as needed.

IFS is not the same as a solid axle.

You do not need any lift to run 33s. Have '18 Pro and only needed to remove front mud flaps and push front fender liners out a bit. If you want a lift, then go for it. But not needed for 33s.

On my 2018 Pro early on, I had a 1.5” Cornfed spacer up front and 1” rear. Ran 285/70-17’s with everything else being stock. Pros have the port front fender trim and I even left my front mud flaps on. Only very, very slight rubbing on max articulation. i.e.; my avatar. Of course, get a new alignment and see how much positive caster they can get out of the stock UCA’s. Then you can leave your mud flaps. You should have no issues.

I saw some where someone is running 255x80 17R on a New 4Runner TRD Pro this might be an option as he stated no rubbing.

Running 285 70 R17 in 18 Pro with no lift. removed front mud flaps and pushed front liners forward a bit. No rubbing at full travel. Happy trails.
