Minimum snatch strap strength

Thinking about getting the ARB Premium Recovery Kit (P/NO RK9US). The included snatch strap is rated at 17,500 lbs. The comments indicate that it can be used on a T4R but would appreciate input from some experienced hands on what strength strap should be used. Also, if anyone has other preferences for kits, would like to hear. Thanks.

I bought the one size larger; I think ARB 22,400lbs based on some locals advice. I went ahead & made a recovery kit which includes 1st aid, basic tools/compressor/jumpers, recovery gear & water. It all fits in a Smittybilt 26" bag that came with straps. Total was about $350 for everything. I anchored it in the back to the tie downs.
But to answer your question, the instructions say ~3-4x gvwr, which is 6100lbs for the 2015 trail model (you'll want to verify this gvwr). 18,300 - 24,400 lbs would be minimum breaking weight & this range should be appropriate.

Snatch Straps

I have a Smittybuilt 17K strap. Recently I snatched a Raptor and a JK off a small dune with it just fine. I would be tempted to get the 24k strap if mine gives out. The stretch was good, no bang when it went tight. I'll watch the posts for further opinions.
