Mixing Lift Kits??

I just bought a brand new Cornfed 2" front and 2" rear kit. The front is just the under the top-plate aluminum spacer and the rear is the polyurethane spacer. I only bought it because the guys sold it to me for $50.

I also just bought a 1.25" daystar above the top-plate spacer from wheelersoffoad...can i mix and match the two kits? the daystar kit comes with new longer studs. anyone know?

I wouldnt think it would be a problem other than ive heard that its not too good to have much lift above the top plate. I dont know what too much is, my spacer above the top plate is not very much, maybe .25" to .5". I probably wouldnt put much more than that up there.

I put the spacers on, or got it put on by extremetrucktoys.com in orange county. It looks pretty nice but is it normal for it to bottom out so easily over speed bumps when you take it straight on? Also, i just started to notice noises coming from the front right. When I am at a complete stop and i accelerate, i hear like a clicking/grinding type of noise (very subtle) coming from the front right area. It could even be a squeek, but not sure. I'll have to post pics but do you think its too much lift up front? What could it be?


so as of right now i have 2" cornfed below the tophat and a 1.25" daystar above...the daystar polyurethane spacer seriously looks like its 2" on its own but maybe its suppose to scrunch?
