MOAB--Fellow Toyota owner helps spot us!

Wife and I were in MOAB, coming down Pucker Pass and got to where the rain must have washed out a lot of the rocks. This is just before you come to the leaning rock. Rocks on both sides, drivers side rocks had scraps down them from previous vehicles crashing down too fast. Wife walks down to pick me a line and can't figure out a good line without freaking out about the scrape marks on the rocks. Guy behind us in a Toyota Land Cruiser doing a tour was being impatient and yells just do it. Luckily a guy in a Toyota Tundra was coming up, offered to spot me through! We are so glad there are people who are willing to still help out others!

Moab is a small town in Utah and is also the name for the general area around it. It is widely considered the Mecca of offroading in the country. Do a google image search for 'moab offroad' and you'll see what I mean.

back to the topic, are people usually like that on trails? Like an elitism attitude or something? Then again I guess it would depend on the location. Here in the South usually people are super friendly no matter what.

People are usually good about being friendly/ helpful. But like anywhere there are those who don't care about others. I posted this more to say that it was a fellow Toyota owner who helped us out, with another Toyota owner doing a tour $$$ who was a clown. Also, after harsh weather, it might be a good idea to ask about Trail status/ conditions.

Not at all. Most people are super friendly out there on the trails. I ripped my sway bar mount off my axle in Moab on fins n things. Never once did someone yell at me for not being totally off the trail or anything. Every single person who came by stopped and asked if we were OK, and went around us without issue while I was fixing it. That included people in Toyotas, Jeeps, UTVs, dirt bikes, everything.

Looks like that is in Canyonlands park? We just got back today. We did Arches, Kane Creek Rd to Hurrah Pass to Lockhart Basin Rd, Porcupine Tr, Fin And Things, Hells Revenge, then took Rim Rocker Trail to Montrose Colorado and cut across back to Tx.
