Cool. I've wanted to do the switchbacks on my last two Moab trips but haven't yet. Next time...

Do you have the old school BFG mud terrains that now only come on Rubicons from the factory?

Yes, my buddy actually bought his Rubicon same week as me and sold me all 5 of those for 250. I wanted the 285 duratrac but those for that price were hard to pass up.

Great Pictures Love Moab

Thanks for the great pictures. I really like to see what people actually do with their 4runners. I want to visit Moab and do some of these trails the pictures are really nice! Looks like a great adventure!

It's a long easy trail. A bit puckery in a few spots. I did it in a 2 wheel drive '85 Ford Ranger back in '86. And I drove the whole length in one very long day. I had a tent trailer set up in a campground on top.

The views form on top and on the rim are stunning.

Ran it last year in October and it was a bit torn up from previous rains especially on the Mineral side but epic views none the less! PS did they Change their pet policy?

Most of your pictures are showing up black for me but there's one picture with a shelf road high above the valley floor. What road is that? I just did the WRT in June and don't remember that road.

I did the whole trail in about 9 hours but you should budget 12 hrs.

Pickup your park entrance pass at 8am and hit the trail. No special pass is needed, just a normal day pass.

I used the GPS app for Android BackCountry Navigator Pro.

Awesome pics!! Is that trail accessible for a bigger rig, ie my 2009 Tundra? Stock xtra cab, TRD 4x4??

My 1st gen Runner is not up for the drive from San Diego yet... dang!!

It's a very mellow road, hardly a "trail" at all. Your Tundra would be fine.
