ok fellow dog lovers - what mods and/or accessories have you found that are geared towards dogs?

Canvasback cargo liner and then Husky all weather cargo liner.
The canvasback helps with the dog hair not sticking to back of rear seats, carpet, etc. and then obviously all weather mats for muddy paws. That's my only mods geared towards the dogs (black lab and a yellow lab). You can add a flap to the canvasback that flips out and covers the rear bumper so dogs don't scratch when jumping in.

^ Agreed with both, canvasback liners are a must for dogs, also some sort of seat covers, an armrest cover, I have both a neoprene and a canvasback cover and a Husky rear cargo liner. All have helped with protection with my dogs. I also purchased a set of steps since my older dog is showing signs of arthritis, however they have not figured out the purpose of them yet. I will work with them in the spring to train them to use them better.

I have a liner and weather tech floor mats throughout but those steps are a great idea. I figured I'd have to get some kind of ramp one day since it's a pretty big jump. Can you post a link to those steps please?

I have Treatadog.com cargo liner that I picked up on a Christmas special for like $40. Works great and quality is very good. Might be worth checking out as they have been still running specials. I also use custom Ainley kennel. Have a drawer box that goes under it when I was doing hunt tests regularly.

My dog rides in the back seat but loves to put her paws up on the door panel so I got these to help protect from scratches. Had to trim two of the tabs but did great otherwise.

this doggy hammock for the back seat is the best thing i have every bought. Not only does it keep my dog from launching into the front seat, or into the foot well, it keeps his vomit contained if he does decide to vomit. Also, i can put packages and crap in the footwell, where my dog can't get to it to destroy. and it deters lookie-loo thieves b/c they think my backseats are empty, when everything is in the footwell.
Its also thick enough so when my dog does his digging thing to get comfy, he doesn't put holes into my seat.
It also acts like a regular seat cover for the rear seat w/ velcro openings for seatbelts, when you don't use it as a hammock.

What size did you get? I have one that seems a bit small and slides all over the place. This one looks more secure. On a good day, my dog can make the jump into the seat, most days he jumps onto the floorboard first. We are both getting a little older......

Xlarge covers every square inch. I put a cheap blanket under the covers so it doesn't slide at all. I added the blanket b/c I was skeptical about the covers at first, and never bother to remove the blanket or covers after I put it in.

Those steps are great - thanks for posting. My old lab refused to use a ramp.

That’s a good read, thanks. Is Maeve(how do you pronounce that) a purebred healer/cattle dog? Her face is nice and skinny, she’s a good looking dog. We had a blue growing up and my mom rescued 2 reds that are beef cakes! We all do the raw diet and have good results. I will look into one of those K9 trauma kits, that seems like a great thing to have; especially outdoors and remote, you never know what they could get into.
