Selling my Mombassa Roof Top Tent, I bought it used a few months ago, used it on one trip and decided I still don't like roof top tents and prefer my hammock.

Dimensions Closed: 47" Length x 55" Width x 12" Height
Dimensions Open: 94" Length x 55" Width
About 120lbs - my roommate and I lift it on and off pretty easily when I used it.

Cover is in great shape, couple pin holes here and there in the tent material, fly is great, all the poles for the fly and windows are there.

Previous owner added some aluminum flat bars to help keep its shape and assist in closing/ zippering the cover on when you have sleeping bags and such inside.

There are no cross bars on the base as most tents have to adjust and move the tent when mounting, it was hard mounted to square yakima bars and the bars have Timberline towers you can mount to your stock rack.

I hard mounted to my Rhino Rack cross bars and will remove those and then include the Yakima bars with Timberline towers - with keys to lock too.

$450 picked up in Costa Mesa California with Cross Bars and towers. $500 delivered within 50 miles of Costa Mesa.

This is a great in-expensive way to get yourself a RTT!

the bolts are through bolted thru the floor of the RTT. I have reinforced both sides of the floor with flat aluminum.

I bolt my 165lb Eezi-Awn tent using the same setup. I absolutely love it. Lower profile AND it’s super solid. I don’t hear it at 75mph on the freeway.

I agree, if it hadn’t come this way, I was going to do it myself to try out. Can’t stand how high profile most roof racks and bars are on the 4Runner
