Moog 81088 -- Anyone have experience with them?

After being pleasantly pleased with my $30 rear 99 Moog coils on our budget toad, I really want to pick up a matching set for the fronts. Looking at RockAuto, it seems the 81088's are the coil for the 99s with 16" wheels. However, googling the 81088's tells me that they are meant for the 4th gens, and I'm unable to find much more information past that.

Does anyone have experience with these coils? Or, does anyone know which Moog 99 talls work for the front?

No, but I was looking at the same springs, so I hope they are correct. Also have no issues with the MOOG springs in the rear - but I am also running airbags.

I did replace my front and rear springs with those Moogs. My fronts are covered in surface rust, but more importantly, they are VERY stiff compared to the toyota oems. I only drive on the streets, so I am a little disappointed but not so much that I need to replace them. They would likely be welcome to those who go off roading a lot.

Yes, I've got the Moog 81088 front springs on my 02 sport. They're MOOGs version of the 99 talls. One is labeled as driver side as well. I also have the Moog 99 talls in the rear.

As someone else mentioned, they are firmer than expected after 7-8 months of break in time. I do believe that they've settled some, but it's not sagging in the rear like the originals were after 150k miles. I put on all new KYB shocks all around and the Moog springs on at the same time, just as a FYI.
My use case is primarily on road, with occasional service road type use.

Last weekend I had probably 150lbs of pavers in the rear and it seemed to have a much smoother ride than with it empty, like normal. It also wasn't really saggy either.

After that experience, I was kinda thinking about trying some OME rear springs to see if it makes a big difference in ride quality?

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. I wouldn't consider myself a 4Runner guru like a lot of other guys here. Just explaining my experience.

To update this thread, 81088's work great. The rear Moog 99 talls will also sit level, but sag quite a bit with a typical camping load.
