Looking good, but in my opinion I don't like the black grille on there, makes it look like you ordered a new one from the factory and have yet to paint it. The scoop insert looks good though. Maybe if you had some black wheels to accent the 2 tone, but i'm not liking it on that clean runner

I prefer the all-black grille! The chrome is ugly, IMO. I plan to do something similar to mine, but include the lower grille as well...to help it tie in to the rest of the front.

I agree with Miller, the black just doesn't fit. I wish 3rd Gens had grilles that were the same color as the body.

I'd just paint the grill body color but leave the middle "stripe" black since the whole grill being black looks unfinished.

i want imperial jade ones so bad... same with mirrors, but they're just not available.

I'd check dismantlers but I doubt they're remotely anywhere near cheap

this is the first time I've ever heard of someone painting them for preference... i am intrigued

thanks to the folks who like the grille. It did come same color as the body with the black stripe in the middle. It's just my way of being different from everyone else. I've never seen a 4runner around here with a blacked out grille. it's simple and clean

it's a 2wd. wish it were 4wd. but it's all good. I do want to put some coil spacers on with some Nitto Terragrapplers. Try to make it look a little more aggressive.

yes definately black rims. i don't know if i should paint the ones i have or get some aftermarket rims. i hate the center caps on those wheels
